Local Atlanta Fence Company mentions that when you go out to a park or recreational facility, proper fencing is never something you notice until it isn’t there. For a proper layout, a recreational facility needs to use the right type of fence in each situation. After all, you wouldn’t want to use a concrete fence as the outfield fence of a baseball field. A privacy fence would actually be against the law and a danger to young children if it was used around a pool area.
The most common type of fencing found in recreational facilities is:
Chain Link Fencing – By far the most useful type of fence because it offers some security, it’s easy to see through and cheap to install. Chain link is the perfect choice for:
- Pools – They can be made tall enough to prevent people from entering after hours. The open weave allows parents to supervise their children without having to worry about them leaving the area.
- Permanent field perimeter – Chain link is flexible enough to be used as a perimeter fence for any shape of field and its low cost lets you make the dimensions.
- Dugouts and backstops – Chain link is often used because you can shape it to fit most spaces and it protects players and spectators.
- Security gates – Sometimes you need a large number of people to funnel through specific entrances and exits. A chain link security gate can keep people going where they are supposed to instead of wandering into unauthorized areas.
Privacy Fencing – Privacy fences are usually either solid sections of metal or wood. Usually these types are for residential use. Though there are some places like restrooms, locker rooms, storage areas, or dumpsters that you want to protect. In these cases installing a privacy fence could be a great option.
